The Sidekick cleverly combines two body tubes, two nose cones, and two sets of fins to produce one remarkable rocket! Clustered engine launches are spectacular, as are recoveries via twin 36-inch mylar streamers. Light up the sky with the dynamic dual delights of the Estes Sidekick!
Are two really better than one? We think so! The skillfully engineered Estes Sidekick manages to combine two of almost everything to produce one remarkable model rocket. It’s a single rocket with two body tubes, two nose cones, two engine mounts, two recovery systems, and two sets of laser-cut balsa fins. Custom-cut, card stock body tube joiners mate one half of this two-part flyer to the other. There’s nothing else quite like the double trouble of the Estes Sidekick.
But it doesn’t just look sharp. The cleverly designed Estes Sidekick is an excellent flier, too. This Advanced level model was created for clustered engine launches. Experience spectacular rocket flights to 700 feet or more under the combined thrust of two side-by-side Estes B6-4 engines. Recoveries are dazzling to watch when the 36-inch twin mylar streamers deploy at ejection and trail the model back to earth. From ignition to touch-down, the flight of the dual-bodied Estes Sidekick rocket is not to be missed!
Both expert and beginner model rocketeers will enjoy building the Sidekick. You’ve never worked on a rocket like this before! Precision construction is a must for this non-standard design. Finish your Estes Sidekick with the included yellow and orange, water-slide flame decals.
Put this rocket on the flight line and watch the heads turn. It’s not every day you see a clustered engine, two-in-one flying model rocket. Don’t delay! Double time it the launch field today and light up the sky with the dynamic dual delights of the Estes Sidekick!

MINI ALTITRAK ALTITUDE TRACKER
Take learning to new heights with this low-cost technology solution for tracking model rocket altitude. These small, easy to transport altitude tracking devices allow for students to track flight data, analyze and graph! Coming in a 3 pack, this makes it easier on your wallet so you can provide engaging learning opportunities for your students.
DESCRIPTION
Need a savior from a boring classroom, but want to keep it educational? Introduce the Mini AltiTrak to your rocketry activity to engage students in the engineering process. It’s not just about data collection and analysis, but about having the tools and resources to understand what is truly happening when the rocket flies through the air.The Mini AltiTrak uses a gravity protractor to present the angle from your body to the apogee of your rocket flight. With the distance from the launchpad to your body, use simple geometry to calculate the height of your rocket flight, then challenge your students to engineer solutions to optimize their rocket’s altitude!
