The Sidekick cleverly combines two body tubes, two nose cones, and two sets of fins to produce one remarkable rocket! Clustered engine launches are spectacular, as are recoveries via twin 36-inch mylar streamers. Light up the sky with the dynamic dual delights of the Estes Sidekick!
Are two really better than one? We think so! The skillfully engineered Estes Sidekick manages to combine two of almost everything to produce one remarkable model rocket. It’s a single rocket with two body tubes, two nose cones, two engine mounts, two recovery systems, and two sets of laser-cut balsa fins. Custom-cut, card stock body tube joiners mate one half of this two-part flyer to the other. There’s nothing else quite like the double trouble of the Estes Sidekick.
But it doesn’t just look sharp. The cleverly designed Estes Sidekick is an excellent flier, too. This Advanced level model was created for clustered engine launches. Experience spectacular rocket flights to 700 feet or more under the combined thrust of two side-by-side Estes B6-4 engines. Recoveries are dazzling to watch when the 36-inch twin mylar streamers deploy at ejection and trail the model back to earth. From ignition to touch-down, the flight of the dual-bodied Estes Sidekick rocket is not to be missed!
Both expert and beginner model rocketeers will enjoy building the Sidekick. You’ve never worked on a rocket like this before! Precision construction is a must for this non-standard design. Finish your Estes Sidekick with the included yellow and orange, water-slide flame decals.
Put this rocket on the flight line and watch the heads turn. It’s not every day you see a clustered engine, two-in-one flying model rocket. Don’t delay! Double time it the launch field today and light up the sky with the dynamic dual delights of the Estes Sidekick!

ANTAR™
Our dedicated designers here at Estes have taken G. Harry Stine’s original model, sketches and drawings of the ANTAR, and brought it back to life. Now you get buy your very own piece of rocket history today.
G. Harry Stine believed in a future for humanity among the stars, and his life’s work was dedicated to that dream.
Harry Stine (NAR#02) is known as the “Father of Model Rocketry” and founder of the National Association of Rocketry. One of the original pioneers that founded the hobby right alongside Vern Estes, Stine was also a talented writer. This Estes Designer Signature Series kit is a faithful reproduction crafted by Estes designers from many sketches Stine created as well as the actual original model which is from the personal collection of Estes Vice President Bill Stine (who happens to be Harry’s son). Antar was not designed as a flying model rocket because in 1951 the hobby didn’t exist yet! Stine was a physicist and clearly understood the science of flight, so even though Antar was a fictional vehicle, the science behind it meant it could be stable in flight.WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD: Scissors, pencil, ruler, fine sandpaper, yellow glue, hobby knife, masking tape, wax paper, sand block, primer (white), paint rust-oleum (deep forest, silver, white) and clear coat (optional). (Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included.)

SPACE CORPS VESTA INTRUDER
The Vesta Intruder stands over 2 feet tall and can reach altitude of up to 350 ft on an Estes C11-3 engine! Although it roars off the pad with a Standard Estes Engine, it disappears into the sky like the light-speed spacecraft it was designed to be, and taunts us with the question: “Are we alone in the universe?” Do you really want to know?
