Estes Tandem-X Model Rocket Launch Set

The Estes Tandem-X Launch Set consists of two model rockets: the Crossfire ISX that is able to achieve over 1,200 feet maximum altitude, and the Amazon that attains heights 600 feet.

The Amazon, a skill level E2X rocket, is easy to assemble in under an hour, needs no painting, and is nearly 3′ tall.

The Crossfire ISX, a skill level 1 model, has laser-cut fins that allow for easy building and finishing.

These models are recovered using a 12-inch parachute (Crossfire ISX) or 18-inch parachute (Amazon).

This set contains two rockets, complete launch system, Rocketeers Guide to Model Rocketry, and flight supplies.

Items required for assembly include: glue, plastic model cement, and paint. Also requires Estes model rocket engines, Estes igniters and plugs, and Estes recovery wadding. (These items are sold separately)
