Estes model rocketry is recommended for ages 10 and up with adult supervision for those under 12. Requires some assembly. Tools needed to build rocket: Scissors, pencil, ruler, fine sandpaper, carpenters glue and a hobby knife.
In order to launch, a launch system, model rocket engines, starters, engine plugs and recovery wadding are required – and included (enough for three launches) but can also be purchased separately. Launch Controller requires 4 1.5V AA high quality alkaline batteries (sold separately)
